Natalya Gimson is an American-British-Jamaican (in that order) writer and artist. Her work explores the psychology and psychogeography of multicultural characters – how they construct and reconstruct their identities relative to their location, culture, and longing.

Her work has been published in The Write Room, INDIE Magazine, DADDY magazine, and the Berlin poetry anthology, The Sundays Book. The first time she attended Can Serrat Artist Residency was in 2018, returning a year later as the September coordinator in 2019.

She spent her formative years in Olympia, Washington, where she graduated with a B.A. from The Evergreen State College in 2015. She works and lives between Berlin, Germany, and Brooklyn, New York.

She is currently working on a novel, and an ice cream project with her friend Marianne.
